Hours: M- F 7:00am - 3:00pm

About The Role

To fabricate and modify custom tooling, injection molds and complex tooling supporting Spencer facility.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Execute injection mold repairs at the direction of lead tool maker.

Demonstrated 18 months of verifiable hands-on machining experience.

Fabricate quality custom tooling that is complex in nature, utilizing manual, CNC, and EDM machine tools.

Perform CAD operations including, obtaining missing dimensions, 2d and 3d programming.

Perform in-process inspection on parts being machined.

Maintain shop floor paperwork including weekly time sheets, job sheets, and database input.

Perform routine maintenance of machine tools being used.

Interact with customers to resolve issues and implement best practices to ensure the highest quality parts at the lowest cost.

Act independently, within prescribed policies, to determine machining methods and procedures.

Perform mold PM's to support Production

Required Qualifications

1 year with Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Have basic understanding of injection mold construction.
